Martin Senell

Martin is a retired architect, having graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of
Architecture degree and from Yale University with an MCP in Regional and Urban Planning. He
has practiced architecture for the past 56 years in Guilford County, NC, and in the U. S. Virgin
Islands.

Martin has been very active in community activities including being a member of the
High Point Wachovia Bank Board of Directors for 15 years, President and Board member of High
Point Habitat for Humanity, Board member of the High Point YMCA and Chairman and member
of the Jamestown United Methodist Church Administrative Board. He served on the
Jamestown City Council from 1991 to 1999. He has been a member of the Jamestown Rotary
Club for 43 years and has served in all Board positions including President. Martin and his wife
Shelby have two sons and one granddaughter. He enjoys golf, reading, photography, and music.
