The Jamestown Rotary Club is proud to partner with the American Red Cross to serve our community, our state, and our country. Our annual blood drive is important because:
The Red Cross – needs to collect more than 13,000 blood donations and more than 2,500 platelet donations each day to reach its needs.
The blood collected by the Red Cross helps millions of patients in over 2,500 hospitals and other facilities across the country.
84 percent of blood donations are given at community blood drives.
Rotary Club Committee Chairman Jeff Ardoin stated that “The Jamestown Rotary Club is proud to hold its annual blood drive in partnership with the Red Cross to give us the opportunity to make a difference and give the gift of life. This year’s drive will be on Friday afternoon, May 5th.” The church is located at 3511 MLK Jr Drive, High Point, NC.
Rotary Club President Don Dale added that “we urge all that can, please come out the day of the blood drive and help us reach our goal of gifted blood.”
